Bethenny Frankel gave her daughter Bryn a light-pink Ford Bronco for her 16th birthday, but she did not buy the car new.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star told People that she bought a certified used Bronco through Hertz Car Sales, then customized it for Bryn with a light-pink wrap.
Bryn turned 16 on May 8. Frankel said the used-car purchase let her put more money into the custom details instead of spending everything on a brand-new vehicle.
The Bronco choice was not random. Frankel owns vintage Broncos, and People reported that Bryn had already been eyeing her mother’s 1973 red-and-white Ford Bronco.
Frankel Wrapped the Bronco in Light Pink

Frankel had the Bronco wrapped in light pink before giving it to Bryn. People reported that the mother and daughter named the car “Bubbles.”
The gift still looked like a full Sweet 16 reveal, but Frankel framed the purchase as practical by her standards: buy the car used, then spend on the parts Bryn would actually notice.
People reported that Frankel partnered with Hertz Car Sales for the birthday surprise. The outlet also noted that the Bronco was Bryn’s first car.
Bryn Already Liked Her Mom’s Bronco Collection

Frankel has shown her car collection on social media before, including vintage Broncos. People reported that Bryn liked that part of her mother’s collection, especially the 1973 classic red-and-white Bronco.
That gave the pink Bronco a direct connection to something Bryn already wanted, not just a flashy teen-birthday gift picked for a reveal video.
Frankel has also joked online about Bryn being her “nepo baby.” In a birthday post last month, she shared a throwback clip of Bryn meeting Justin Bieber as a baby and wrote, “It’s the nepo baby’s birthday!”
Bryn Has Appeared With Frankel Before
Frankel shares Bryn with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, whom she split from in 2012.
Bryn was not a regular presence on RHONY, but she has appeared with her mother in public and on social media. People reported that Bryn joined Frankel on Today in 2023 when Frankel filled in for Jenna Bush Hager.
During that appearance, Bryn joked that being Frankel’s daughter could be “crazy” because of “all of the stories and everything.” She also said Frankel was strict.
For her 16th birthday, the story was a little different: a used Bronco, a pink wrap, and a car named Bubbles.
