Charli D’Amelio’s rumored family fallout is no longer being discussed only through social-media clues and gossip posts. The story now includes a reported business separation from one of the family’s shared companies.
The 22-year-old TikTok star is no longer involved with Be Happy Snacks, the popcorn brand launched by the D’Amelio family in 2023. TMZ reported that sources described Charli’s exit as a “formal amicable separation” from D’Amelio Brands and D’Amelio Family LLC, with the process beginning in March 2025 and being fully executed in November 2025.

Charli Quietly Left Be Happy Snacks Last Year
The timing is important because it means Charli’s split from Be Happy Snacks was not a sudden move after this week’s public speculation.
According to TMZ, Charli has quietly been out of the snack business for more than six months, even though her image still appears on the Be Happy Snacks website.
TMZ also reported that Dixie D’Amelio, Marc D’Amelio, and Heidi D’Amelio remain involved with the brand. Dixie has continued promoting Be Happy Snacks on social media, while Charli has reportedly not posted about the product in more than a year.
The TikTok Post Put More Attention on Charli
The business update followed a wave of fan concern after Charli posted a tearful image on TikTok.
In the caption, she wrote that she would “be back dancing later” and said she was depressed, telling people to leave her alone.
People reported that the post came amid renewed rumors of a rift between Charli and her parents, Marc and Heidi. The outlet also noted that fans had previously noticed Charli and her parents no longer followed one another on Instagram.
Marc D’Amelio Denied the Money Allegations

The most serious claims around the family have involved money, and those claims remain disputed.
People reported that a DeuxMoi post alleged Charli had discovered millions had been moved out of accounts connected to the period when her parents were involved in managing her career.
Marc denied the allegations. People reported that he wrote in response that the claims were not true, said Charli was being “manipulated,” and added that he had “receipts.” He later told People there was “nothing to say except the report is 100% not true.”
TMZ also reported that Marc denied claims he moved money into an offshore account and said one source connected to Marc and Heidi claimed they never had access to Charli’s bank accounts.
Be Happy Snacks Was Built as a Family Business
The D’Amelio family’s business was never limited to TikTok videos.
When Be Happy Snacks was announced in 2023, Axios reported that D’Amelio Brands had secured $5 million in new funding from Fifth Growth Fund and was entering the food business through the snack line.
A D’Amelio Brands announcement at the time said the family would be involved in product development, formulation, marketing, brand building, and fulfillment as the company expanded into food and beverage.
That original family-brand setup is what makes Charli’s later exit more noticeable. Be Happy Snacks was launched as part of the broader D’Amelio business machine, not as a side project unrelated to the family’s shared public image.
The Personal Side Is Still Not Fully Clear
Charli has not publicly given a full account of what is happening with her family.
That keeps the story narrower than some online speculation suggests. The confirmed public pieces are that Charli posted about feeling depressed, Marc denied the financial allegations, and TMZ reported that Charli formally separated from the family’s snack-business structure months before the latest wave of attention.
The business break adds a concrete detail to the conversation, but it does not explain everything happening privately. For now, Charli’s ties to at least part of the family brand have changed, while the personal side remains behind reports, denials, and social-media clues.
