Charlie Puth canceled his Orlando concert hours before showtime after telling fans illness had left him unable to sing.
The singer-songwriter was scheduled to perform on June 6 at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando as part of his Whatever’s Clever! tour. People reported that Puth announced the cancellation on Instagram Stories, saying he had been sick for several days and had been instructed to rest or risk losing more dates on the tour.

Puth told fans he was “devastated” and said performing for them each night means everything to him.
“I’m heartbroken, but I physically am unable to perform,” he wrote, according to People. “Without a voice, I can’t give you guys the show you all deserve.”
He apologized to fans and said canceling was not an easy decision. Puth did not share a diagnosis, but his message made clear that the illness had affected his voice enough to stop the Orlando show from moving forward.
The Orlando Show Will Not Be Rescheduled
Addition Financial Arena later confirmed that the concert had been canceled because of illness and would not be rescheduled. The venue told ticket holders to seek refunds through their original point of purchase.
TMZ reported that the cancellation came only hours before the scheduled performance, leaving Orlando fans without a makeup date for the Florida stop.
The Tour Is Still Scheduled To Continue In Nashville

Puth’s next listed tour date is June 9 at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville. People reported that he is scheduled to return to the stage there after resting his voice.
The Orlando cancellation came one night after Puth performed at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, and before a run of Southern dates that includes Nashville, Austin, Irving, and Houston.
Puth Is Touring During A Busy Personal Year
The Whatever’s Clever! tour is unfolding during a major year for Puth offstage. In March, he and his wife, Brooke Sansone Puth, welcomed their first child, a son named Jude.
He has also spoken recently about changing parts of his lifestyle. In a January interview with Rolling Stone cited by People, Puth said he does not drink because he believes alcohol clouds his judgment.
For Orlando ticket holders, the practical update is simple: the June 6 show is canceled, there is no rescheduled date, and refunds are being handled through the original point of purchase.
