DJ Fat Tony says he hopes Brooklyn Beckham eventually repairs his rift with David and Victoria Beckham after months of public family-feud headlines.

The DJ, whose real name is Anthony Marnoch, attended Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham’s 2022 Palm Beach wedding and later spoke publicly about the wedding dance involving Brooklyn and Victoria.

Goss.ie reported that Marnoch discussed the feud in a new interview with Closer, saying he hopes Brooklyn, David and Victoria “sort it out.”

“I think they will – of course they will,” he said. “Like all family feuds, there comes a point where you think, ‘Well, what is this about?’”

Fat Tony Said He Hopes the Family Reconciles

Marnoch told Closer that he hopes the family fixes the relationship “for all of their sakes,” according to Goss.ie. He also said he was not trying to decide who was right in the dispute.

“But it’s not for me to say, ‘She was wrong, he was right.’ It’s not my business,” he said.

He Said He Was Not Trying to Take Down the Beckhams

Marnoch also addressed his earlier appearance on This Morning, where he spoke about Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding reception. Goss.ie reported that Marnoch described Brooklyn and Nicola as friends and said he went on the ITV show to “change the narrative.”

“The word ‘inappropriate’ was misused,” he said. “Everyone thought that Victoria was slut-dropping – there was no slut-dropping.” He added that he was not there to “take down the Beckhams” and called the dispute “a really sad situation.”

The Wedding Dance Claim Started Months of Headlines

The wedding dance became one of the most repeated details in the Beckham family dispute after Brooklyn claimed Victoria had “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola and danced “very inappropriately” with him.

People reported in January that Marnoch appeared on This Morning and said Marc Anthony had called Brooklyn onstage during the wedding reception, then asked Victoria to join him.

Marnoch said guests expected Nicola to join Brooklyn for the first dance. He said Marc Anthony told Brooklyn to put his hands on Victoria’s hips during the dance.

“The whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room,” Marnoch said, according to People.

Fat Tony Said Brooklyn and Nicola Knew He Was Speaking

Earlier this month, Marnoch said Brooklyn and Nicola had encouraged him to speak publicly about the wedding drama.

The Sun reported that when Marnoch was asked whether Brooklyn and Nicola had asked him to speak out, he replied, “Yeah, I was… There’s… a WhatsApp group.” He also told The Telegraph, according to The Sun, that he did not intend to “throw anyone under a bus” and was not trying to “slag off” David or Victoria.

The Independent reported that Marnoch said he wanted to stop the memes and speculation around the dance.

The Beckham Rift Has Continued in Public

Brooklyn confirmed the family feud in a January Instagram statement, according to Goss.ie. In that statement, he accused David and Victoria of trying to damage his relationship with Nicola and said he did not want to reconcile with his family.

The Sun reported that Brooklyn did not attend David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony earlier this month. The outlet also reported that Harper Beckham later went to Brooklyn’s Beverly Hills home with a letter but left without seeing him.

Marnoch told Goss.ie that he still believes Brooklyn and his parents will speak again at some point.
