Although Wade was initially booked on suspicion of three offenses, prosecutors filed one felony count tied to the June incident.

The charge is an allegation, and Wade has not been convicted of a crime.
Police Responded After a Report of a Woman Screaming
The case stems from a June 21 police response in Burbank. People reported that officers were called to a residence around 5:30 a.m. after reports of a woman screaming.
NBC Los Angeles, citing law enforcement sources, reported that officers found Wade and a woman with lacerations on her face and body. Paramedics evaluated the woman at the scene, but she was not transported to a hospital.
TMZ reported that police call logs referred to yelling and stomping inside the residence before officers arrived.
Wade Posted a $50,000 Bond
People reported that Wade was arrested and booked in Los Angeles on June 21, with bond set at $50,000. He bonded out of jail the same day.
Authorities also obtained an emergency protective order for the woman after the arrest.
NBC Los Angeles reported that a handgun was taken from the home after the arrest. The outlet did not report that prosecutors filed a separate weapons charge in connection with the case.
Zaire Wade Previously Pursued Basketball
Wade followed his Hall of Fame father into basketball. NBC Los Angeles reported that he played at Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles and later spent time in the G League and with teams overseas.
People reported that Wade most recently played for the Cape Town Tigers of the Basketball Africa League. Dwyane Wade shares Zaire with his former wife, Siohvaughn Funches.
The retired Miami Heat star has not publicly commented on the felony filing. Zaire Wade’s arraignment is scheduled for July 16 in Pasadena.
