Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott was hospitalized following a reported suicide attempt at her Michigan home over the weekend.

TMZ obtained emergency-dispatch audio in which first responders were directed to Scott’s home in Chesterfield Township for what the dispatcher described as a “suicide attempt.” A relative who contacted emergency services reported that the 51-year-old had suffered a serious bleeding injury.

The dispatcher subsequently described Scott as unconscious, although footage recorded as she was taken from the property appeared to show her conscious on a stretcher. She was transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens.

Scott’s current condition has not been disclosed. Neither she nor Eminem has publicly commented, and the available reports do not identify what may have preceded the emergency.

Dispatch Audio Clarified the Medical Emergency

The first report about Scott’s hospitalization did not describe the incident as a suicide attempt. A Chesterfield Fire and EMS record obtained by The U.S. Sun listed the call as involving an unconscious or fainting person and classified the medical emergency as a hemorrhage or laceration.

Audio released the following day provided additional context. The dispatcher relayed information from the caller, who identified Scott as his aunt and said she had locked herself inside part of the home before relatives were able to reach her.

Emergency personnel and Chesterfield Township police responded to the property Saturday evening. Video published by TMZ showed paramedics wheeling Scott from the house and placing her inside an ambulance.

Scott Has Previously Experienced Mental Health Crises

Scott has spoken publicly about an October 2015 car crash that she later described as a suicide attempt. She was hospitalized again following another mental health emergency at her Michigan home in July 2021.

After the 2021 incident, sources told TMZ that Scott had received medical and psychological evaluation and was recovering at home. She later completed a residential rehabilitation program and said in 2024 that she was sober and doing well.

She Faced Two Driving Cases Earlier This Year

Scott’s hospitalization follows several months of legal trouble involving two driving incidents. In May, she pleaded no contest to operating a vehicle while impaired and failing to stop after a February collision with a parked truck.

Two days after entering that plea, Scott was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated after allegedly striking another parked vehicle in Chesterfield Township. Police said a breath test measured her blood-alcohol level at approximately 0.20%, more than twice Michigan’s legal limit.

Temporary bench warrants were issued after she missed court proceedings in June, but subsequent reports said the warrant issues were resolved.

Scott and Eminem, whose legal name is Marshall Mathers, married in 1999 and divorced in 2001. They remarried briefly in 2006 before separating again. They share daughter Hailie Jade, and Eminem also adopted Alaina, the daughter of Scott’s late twin sister, and Stevie, one of Scott’s children from another relationship.
