Hannah Brown returned to the Dancing With the Stars ballroom Tuesday night, but this time she was watching from the sidelines and one of the people she encountered backstage was her former Bachelorette runner-up Tyler Cameron. Brown attended the September 29 Yacht Rock Night episode while Cameron continued his Season 35 run with professional partner Sharna Burgess.
A backstage TikTok Live captured Brown posing with Cameron, her former DWTS partner Alan Bersten and professional dancer Hailey Bills. Us Weekly reported that Brown was smiling with her arms around Cameron and Bersten as the group gathered behind the scenes.
Brown won Season 28 of Dancing With the Stars with Bersten in 2019, only months after Cameron finished second on her season of The Bachelorette, and seven years later, Cameron is the one competing in the ballroom while Brown watches from the audience.
Brown married Adam Woolard in July 2025, while Cameron became engaged to photographer Tate Madden in August 2026 after proposing on Little Palm Island in Florida.

Cameron and Burgess were competing on the show’s first Yacht Rock Night when Brown visited. Parade reported that they performed a jive to Orleans’ “Still the One” and received 17 points out of 30 from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.
The score left Cameron near the bottom of the Week 3 leaderboard, although he remained in the competition after the night’s elimination. The performance came after Cameron had described the jive as a particularly challenging assignment and publicly thanked Burgess for continuing to push him through a difficult rehearsal week.
Brown Had Already Predicted Cameron Would Be ‘Really Good’
Brown’s appearance was not the first time she had publicly addressed Cameron’s new ballroom role. Before the Season 35 premiere, she recorded her predictions for the cast and said she expected Cameron to perform well because of his athleticism, charisma and possible dance background.
She also praised Burgess, saying she was happy to see the longtime professional dancer return to the show. The comments gave Brown a different role in Cameron’s latest reality-TV chapter: rather than being the woman deciding whether to choose him on The Bachelorette, she was speaking as a former Mirrorball champion evaluating his chances on the competition she already won.
Their Relationship Shifted Into Friendship After ‘The Bachelorette’
Cameron first became publicly connected to Brown during her 2019 season of The Bachelorette, where he finished as the runner-up after she chose Jed Wyatt. Brown and Wyatt’s engagement ended shortly afterward, and Brown and Cameron briefly explored whether there was still a romantic possibility between them before ultimately going separate ways.
They reconnected again in 2020, including spending time together in Florida during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that period did not lead to a renewed relationship. By 2024, the dynamic had shifted enough for Brown to appear on Cameron’s renovation series Going Home With Tyler Cameron. Cameron told Us Weekly at the time that he had personally called Brown because he needed her help with one of the show’s design projects.
Brown Is Married, and Cameron Is Planning His Own Wedding

PEOPLE reported that Brown married Woolard on July 26, 2025, during a wedding overlooking the French Riviera after more than four years together. Cameron announced his engagement to Madden on August 15, 2026, after proposing during a beach getaway in the Florida Keys.
Cameron has already been asked whether Brown’s place in his past means she will attend his wedding. He said she would not be on the guest list, joking that the decision was “out of respect” for Madden and pointing out that Brown is happily living her own life with Woolard.
