Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty’s sister, Bethany Peaty, are reportedly no longer speaking after a private phone call about a proposed paid interview concerning the couple’s pregnancy announcement.
An anonymous source told the Daily Mail that Bethany contacted Holly before responding to questions she had received about the baby news. The source claimed Bethany wanted her sister-in-law’s approval and had not agreed to the interview.
Holly reportedly rejected the proposal and warned that participating would affect Bethany’s relationship with both her and Adam.
No recording of the conversation has been released, and neither woman has publicly confirmed the source’s account.

Holly and Adam announced on June 20 that they are expecting a baby girl in December. “Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026,” they wrote in their joint Instagram post. “We can’t wait to meet our baby girl.”
Bethany, who is also reportedly expecting her third child, was later approached about answering questions connected to the announcement. The anonymous source claimed she considered the payment useful as she prepared for another baby but called Holly “out of respect and consideration” before proceeding.
According to the report, Holly objected to Bethany receiving money to discuss someone else’s pregnancy and said she and Adam would distance themselves from her if she completed the interview. The source described the call as “brutal,” but neither participant has disclosed what was said.
Bethany Was Adam’s Only Immediate Relative at the Wedding

Holly and Adam married at Bath Abbey on Dec. 27, 2025. Bethany joined Holly’s sisters, Megan and Tilly Ramsay, in the bridal party, with all three wearing red satin dresses designed by Victoria Beckham.
Adam’s parents, Caroline and Mark Peaty, and his brothers, James and Richard, did not attend amid a wider family rift. Bethany was therefore the only member of his immediate family photographed participating in the ceremony.
After the wedding, Bethany shared photographs of the personalized gifts Holly had prepared for her bridesmaids. They included embroidered pillowcases, pajamas, beauty products and a handkerchief dated with the wedding day. Bethany accompanied one of the posts with the message, “Love you Holly.”
Bethany later said she had felt “caught right in the middle” of the wider family conflict. She described her mother as a good parent and grandmother while also saying that the Ramsays had welcomed her warmly.
The Women Were Publicly Affectionate Earlier This Year
Holly called Bethany the “best sister in law” in an April 22 birthday tribute that included photographs from the morning of the wedding. Adam also marked the occasion with a message for his sister.
Weeks later, Bethany posted a photograph with Holly and wrote, “Missed my girl.” Holly replied, “Sister.” Bethany also responded to the pregnancy announcement by saying that “Aunty Beth” already loved the couple’s baby and could not wait to meet her.
