Jack Quaid and Claudia Doumit’s wedding started with family tradition and ended with a mechanical bull.
The The Boys costars married April 18 in Australia, and Quaid finally shared some of the details during a June 11 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He showed his wedding band, called the day “amazing,” and said the reception became a party almost immediately.
People reported that the couple held the wedding at Mona Farm in Braidwood, New South Wales, about 55 miles from Canberra. Doumit was born and raised in Australia, and Quaid said the celebration included traditions from her Lebanese family.
The night also brought in cast jokes from The Boys, a room full of confused but enthusiastic American guests, and one wedding request Quaid clearly does not regret.
The Reception Started With Drums and Shoulder Lifts
Quaid told Kimmel that he and Doumit entered the reception tent as a drummer played. Doumit’s Lebanese relatives then lifted the newlyweds onto their shoulders, turning the entrance into one of the loudest moments of the night.
He joked that the drums may have worked too well. Guests got so excited that the couple had to find a way to bring the room back down long enough for dinner.
“I think if I had one note,” Quaid said, “it would be maybe drums after food.”
The Boys Cast Brought a Set Prank to the Cake Cutting
Several of Quaid and Doumit’s The Boys costars attended the wedding, and they brought one of the show’s running jokes with them. Quaid said the cast used to have “cake wars” on set, where they would surprise someone with a cake and sing “Happy Birthday” even when it was not that person’s birthday.
The joke followed them to Australia. While Quaid and Doumit were cutting their wedding cake, the The Boys side of the room started singing “Happy Birthday” at full volume.
Quaid said he loved having so many people from the show there, even when they turned a normal wedding moment into a cast prank.
Quaid Wanted a Mechanical Bull at the Wedding
Quaid also revealed that his biggest personal request for the wedding was a mechanical bull. He said plenty of guests tried it, including him, and he joked that he somehow managed not to split his pants.
Doumit also got on the bull in her wedding dress. Quaid said he has an “amazing shot” of that moment and added that, as far as he knows, no one was hurt.
The detail gave Kimmel one of the easiest follow-up questions of the interview, because a mechanical bull is not exactly a standard wedding feature. Quaid did not sound apologetic about it.
The Wedding Became a Boys Reunion
The wedding also brought together several members of The Boys cast as the Prime Video series moves toward its final season. Quaid has played Hughie Campbell since the show began, while Doumit played Victoria Neuman in seasons 2 through 4.
People previously reported that Karl Urban, Colby Minifie, Nathan Mitchell, and other cast members were spotted at the celebration. Erin Moriarty later told People that the wedding felt like a beautiful way to close out the show’s run with a celebration of love.
Quaid’s family was part of the day as well. E! News noted that Jack is the son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, and People reported that both of his parents were among the guests in Australia.
Quaid and Doumit Kept Their Romance Mostly Private

Quaid and Doumit met through The Boys and were first romantically linked in June 2022. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2024 Oscars, but they have generally kept the relationship away from constant public commentary.
That made Quaid’s Kimmel appearance one of the clearest looks at the wedding so far. He kept the story funny and specific: the drummer, the shoulder lifts, the cast singing during the cake cutting, and Doumit riding a mechanical bull in her wedding dress.
