Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson have ended their engagement following months of uncertainty about their relationship, according to a source close to the former couple.
“There is no secret that she’s not happy with him,” the source told PEOPLE. “They’ve had a lot of back and forth. They’re not together right now.”
The reported split follows a series of pointed Instagram Stories in which Osbourne demanded accountability, asked for the return of her dogs and possessions and mentioned child support.
Neither Osbourne nor Wilson has personally confirmed the breakup. Representatives for both were contacted for comment but had not responded when the reports were published.
A Source Says Osbourne No Longer Wants the ‘Drama’
The source said Osbourne is focused on raising the couple’s 3-year-old son, Sidney, and remaining close to her mother, Sharon Osbourne. “She just doesn’t want the drama in her life right now,” the insider said. “Sid has a lot he needs to work through on his own.”
Osbourne’s father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, died in July 2025. A source previously told PEOPLE that the loss continued to affect her deeply and that supporting her mother had become one of her priorities.
Her Instagram Stories Intensified the Split Reports
Osbourne shared several Instagram Stories on August 3rd that appeared to address a serious personal dispute. “Wake the f— up take some responsibility,” she wrote. “I will not take your s— anymore! I’m done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. Let me heal. I can’t protect you from yourself anymore.”
She also reposted messages about protecting a child’s emotional wellbeing and choosing that responsibility over another person’s feelings or expectations. “My job is to protect my kids. Not your feelings. Not your expectations. Not judgements I didn’t ask for,” one post read. “My responsibility is to protect their wellbeing. Their nervous systems. Their emotional safety.”
Osbourne ended the series by writing, “Also, while I’m at it, can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?” Although Entertainment Weekly reported that the messages appeared to be directed at Wilson, Osbourne never named him.
Questions About Their Engagement Began in March
Reports that Osbourne and Wilson were struggling emerged in March, approximately eight months after their engagement. A source said the couple had found it difficult to balance different priorities, including where they should spend their time.
Osbourne had been traveling between England, where Sharon lives, and the Iowa farm where she and Wilson had raised Sidney. “It’s been hard for Kelly and Sid to balance everything, especially with different priorities about where to spend time,” the source said. “This has put a strain on their relationship.”
Osbourne and Wilson were photographed together with Sharon and Jack Osbourne at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 1st. Neither publicly addressed the relationship speculation that followed.
Wilson Proposed at Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Concert

Osbourne and Wilson began dating in January 2022 after knowing each other since meeting through Ozzfest in 1999. They welcomed Sidney in November of that year. Wilson proposed backstage at Ozzy’s final concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, on July 5th, 2025.
The proposal took place in front of Osbourne’s family and friends. Wilson told her that he loved her “more than anything in the world” before getting down on one knee. Ozzy jokingly interrupted by telling Wilson, “F— off, you’re not marrying my daughter,” before Osbourne accepted the proposal.
