Kelly Osbourne shared a series of forceful messages about accountability, healing and protecting her son shortly after reports claimed Sid Wilson had been removed from Slipknot.
Osbourne posted the messages on August 3, beginning with a demand that an unidentified person accept responsibility for their actions.
Another message argued that forceful attempts to defend a guilty person can sometimes function as a distraction rather than evidence of innocence.
She never named Wilson, mentioned Slipknot or explained whom she was addressing.
Osbourne Told an Unnamed Person to Take Responsibility

“Wake the f— up take some responsibility,” she wrote, according to People’s account of the Stories. “I will not take your s— anymore! I’m done.” She said she wanted to be happy, focus on raising her son and have the space to heal.
“Leave me alone,” Osbourne continued. “Let me heal. I can’t protect you from yourself anymore.” Another Story asked for the return of her dogs and personal belongings while also raising the subject of financial support.
“Also, while I’m at it, can I have my dogs back and all my possessions,” she wrote. “Oh yeah and maybe some child support?” Osbourne also reposted messages about protecting a child’s emotional safety and choosing that responsibility over the feelings or expectations of other people.
She Also Posted About Guilt and Deflection
Osbourne wrote that when a person’s “mask slips,” they may avoid looking at themselves and redirect attention toward someone else. “This is why I always take accountability,” she added.
TMZ connected the Stories to Wilson because they appeared days after the outlet first reported his alleged removal from Slipknot. Osbourne herself did not make that connection.
Wilson’s Reported Firing Has Not Been Officially Confirmed
TMZ reported on July 31 that Wilson had been informed that afternoon that he was being permanently removed from Slipknot after approximately 28 years. A follow-up report published August 3 citedđ unnamed sources who alleged that the decision followed long-running dissatisfaction with Wilson’s behavior and the way he treated his bandmates.
Those sources characterized the reported firing as a decision that had been developing for some time rather than an abrupt reaction to a single incident. TMZ also claimed that Slipknot had intended to announce Wilson’s departure independently but lost control of the timing when the information became public.
Jim Root Urged Fans to Wait for More Information

Slipknot guitarist Jim Root added uncertainty through an Instagram Story posted after the initial report circulated. “Don’t believe everything you read,” Root wrote. “Stop. Think. Take a breath. Sit with it for awhile. Maybe. Just maybe even wait until there’s more information.”
He accompanied the message with Slipknot’s 2008 song “‘Til We Die.” The timing nevertheless led Billboard, People and other outlets to interpret it as a possible response to the Wilson report.
Osbourne and Wilson Reportedly Ended Their Engagement in March
Osbourne and Wilson began dating in 2022 after knowing each other for more than two decades. They welcomed their son, Sidney, later that year. Wilson proposed backstage at Ozzy Osbourne’s final Black Sabbath concert in Birmingham, England, in July 2025.
Reports in March 2026 claimed that the couple had called off their engagement after struggling with different priorities and the emotional pressure surrounding Ozzy’s death. Sources told People that their relationship was under strain, while TMZ reported that they had separated but had not completely ruled out reconciling.
Wilson Has Remained Silent
Wilson was approached outside a Los Angeles recording studio on August 2 and asked directly whether Slipknot had fired him. He kept his head down and walked into the building without answering, while a friend accompanying him joked that they were “late for church.”
As of August 4, Slipknot had not published an official announcement confirming Wilson’s departure, identifying a replacement or responding to the allegations about his conduct.
