Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton coordinated in Saint Laurent for the opening-night celebration of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, although they stopped short of posing together during the formal arrivals.
The 45-year-old Skims founder wore an archival Tom Ford design from Saint Laurent’s fall 2004 collection for the September 19 event in Los Angeles. Hamilton, 41, chose a contemporary Saint Laurent look by Anthony Vaccarello, pairing an oversized black double-breasted blazer with wide satin lapels and no shirt underneath.
Their separate red-carpet appearances did not continue once they entered the event. Kardashian and Hamilton were photographed together inside, including alongside Kris Jenner, giving photographers several couple shots away from the official arrival line.
The night also introduced a major change behind Kardashian’s look. Celebrity stylist Law Roach dressed her for the event and publicly confirmed that she had become his newest client, while Hamilton attended in an official role as one of the evening’s co-chairs.

Kardashian and Hamilton each handled the carpet alone before joining one another inside the museum.
Vogue published photographs showing the pair together with Jenner and Roach during the celebration. Additional images captured Kardashian and Hamilton standing close together and holding hands away from the formal photo call.
The approach continued a pattern the couple has used at several major events. They have become increasingly visible together throughout 2026 without making every high-profile appearance a traditional joint red-carpet moment.
Their wardrobes nevertheless created an obvious connection on Saturday. Kardashian’s fitted, embroidered archival gown and Hamilton’s loose contemporary tailoring came from different eras of the same fashion house.

Kardashian’s Lucas Museum appearance was her first publicly identified look with Roach as her stylist.
Roach confirmed the partnership on X, posting a comparison between Kardashian and the original runway presentation with the caption, “New client.”
The Saint Laurent by Tom Ford dress featured elaborate floral embroidery over a fitted black silhouette with a mint-toned lining. Kardashian completed the look with Oscar Heyman earrings and a Zydo ring, while wearing her dark hair in a sleek bun.
Archival fashion is already familiar territory for Kardashian, whose previous red-carpet appearances have included vintage pieces from Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier and other major designers. Roach has also made archive sourcing central to some of his best-known celebrity work, particularly with Zendaya.
Although Roach announced in 2023 that he was stepping away from the traditional demands of celebrity styling, he has continued working selectively with high-profile clients.
Hamilton Attended as One of the Museum’s Opening-Night Co-Chairs
Hamilton had a formal role in the celebration alongside co-chairs Julie Bell, Tom Cruise, Guillermo del Toro, Greta Gerwig, Jensen Huang, JR, Steven Spielberg and Pharrell Williams.
His connection to museum founders George Lucas and Mellody Hobson predates the opening. In a Vogue feature earlier this year, Hamilton described Lucas as someone he spends mornings eating pancakes and watching movies with when his Formula One schedule allows.
Hamilton also described walking through the completed museum as being “like walking through George’s brain.”
His Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello outfit kept the focus on the broad satin lapels by leaving the blazer open without a shirt. A diamond necklace and stud earrings provided the main accessories.
The look followed Hamilton’s long-established interest in fashion away from Formula One, where he has regularly worked with luxury designers and used race-weekend arrivals as fashion appearances of their own.
The Lucas Museum Opens to the Public on September 22
George Lucas and Hobson founded the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art to explore visual storytelling across mediums rather than focus exclusively on the filmmaker’s work.
The institution opens to the public on September 22 in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park. The five-story, 300,000-square-foot building contains approximately 100,000 square feet of gallery space across 35 galleries.
Its permanent collection contains more than 40,000 works spanning illustration, painting, photography, comics, murals and cinematic material. Artists represented include Norman Rockwell, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Charles Schulz, alongside objects from the Lucas Archives connected to film production.
Saturday’s celebration drew guests from across film, music, fashion and business. Harrison Ford, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Oprah Winfrey, Michael B. Jordan, Katy Perry, Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan and numerous other figures attended the opening-night event.
The program also included performances, speeches and a drone show using imagery inspired by works in the museum’s collection.
Kardashian and Hamilton Were Riding Bikes in London a Day Earlier
Kardashian and Hamilton’s museum appearance followed a considerably more casual outing in London on September 18.
The pair were photographed riding Lime bikes through a park with friends, with Kardashian wearing a white crop top, black leggings and a jacket while Hamilton chose a leopard-print athletic outfit, according to Just Jared.
Kardashian was in the city for the opening of Skims’ first international flagship store on Regent Street. The 12,000-square-foot location represents a major step in the company’s international retail expansion and opened during London Fashion Week.
Vogue Business reported that Kardashian and Skims co-founder Jens Grede are planning further international growth, with additional locations expected in markets including India, China and Japan.
After the London launch and bike ride, Kardashian and Hamilton traveled to Los Angeles in time for the Lucas Museum celebration the following evening.
