Laura Woods’ fiancé Adam Collard has been named as the alleged victim in an assault case involving his father.
The Sun reported that William “Billy” Collard, a property developer from the North East, has been charged with assault by beating after an incident last year.
The outlet reported that Newcastle Magistrates’ Court confirmed Adam is the alleged victim.
The charge has not been proven in court. William Collard is due to appear at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court on August 7, according to The Sun.

The Sun reported that the Crown Prosecution Service confirmed William Collard had been charged with assault by beating. The outlet also said Adam, 30, has previously spoken about disagreements with his father, while also describing him in earlier interviews as inspiring and generous.
Adam has not issued a detailed public statement about the alleged incident in the sources used for this article. Woods has not been reported as being involved in the alleged altercation.
