Meghan Markle’s $100 charity sweatshirt sold out on its October 11 launch day, according to The Times.

Moms Offering More, known as MOM, released the limited-edition crewneck for International Day of the Girl through a collaboration with Archewell Philanthropies, the organization behind Meghan and Prince Harry’s charitable work.

The organization’s online store has resumed accepting orders and advises customers to allow up to four weeks for delivery because of demand. The price is in U.S. dollars.

The sweatshirt carries the message “It’s the Little Things.” For MOM founder Kasondra Herrendorf Cohen, those four words have a family history reaching back more than a decade.

Meghan modeled the cream crewneck over a blue-and-white striped shirt in her launch-day Instagram post. Chocolate-brown embroidery appears across the back and on a sleeve.

Cohen told PEOPLE that Meghan helped choose the neutral colors and participated from the start. The organizations connected through mutual acquaintances, with the aim of making something comfortable enough to become an everyday favorite.

“We share one intention as parents,” Meghan said in the launch announcement, “a safe and loving future for our children.”

The Message Came From the MOM Founder’s Father

Cohen told PEOPLE that she and her father, Hershel Herrendorf, were watching a man feed ducks in Vancouver’s Stanley Park in May 2014 when he offered the advice.

“It’s the little things in life that bring people happiness,” he told her.

He died suddenly the next day. The Herrendorf Family Foundation dates his death to May 16, 2014, while he was flying home after a week visiting his daughter. Cohen now leads the foundation bearing his name.

Her interest in supporting mothers also grew from her own experience as a parent. In a December 2025 interview with Before, she described feeling isolated after having her first baby and wanting a community where new mothers could find reassurance and practical help.

She also spoke about struggling with milk production and the pressure surrounding formula feeding. Discussing those experiences openly, she said, could make other mothers feel more comfortable asking for assistance.

Her plans for MOM included more grocery gift cards and events shaped around families, alongside opportunities to teach children about giving back.

In April 2024, Meghan appeared with her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer and longtime friend Kelly McKee Zajfen for Alliance of Moms’ “Love Like a Mother” campaign.

McKee Zajfen, a co-founder of the organization, shared the photographs on April 17. The three women sat together on the grass wearing matching white T-shirts with red lettering and blue jeans.

The shirts cost $38 and were sold ahead of Mother’s Day, according to PEOPLE. Their proceeds supported services, education, healthcare and advocacy for young parents affected by foster care and their children.

In her accompanying post, McKee Zajfen thanked both friends for supporting the campaign and for being people she could turn to when she needed help.

Where the Sweatshirt Money Goes

MOM’s product listing says 100% of the purchase supports mothers and families, split equally between MOM and Alliance of Moms. The latter is a membership group supporting the Alliance for Children’s Rights, explaining that organization’s involvement in the campaign.

MOM works in Canada and the United States, providing direct grants, essentials and assistance based on individual families’ needs. It says 80% of the mothers and caregivers it supports live in social housing, while 60% head single-parent households.

Its past events show how that support has been distributed. At a May 2024 Los Angeles gathering, MOM awarded $10,000 each to Elizabeth House and Single Mom Strong. At its November 2025 holiday event in Vancouver, it distributed 109 hampers to families.

The Alliance for Children’s Rights provides free legal services and other assistance to children and young people affected by foster care. Its Healthy Teen Families program helps young parents access resources such as prenatal care, parenting education, childcare and breastfeeding support.

The Alliance’s 2023-2024 impact report says the program supported more than 200 expectant and parenting youth during that reporting period.
