MGK offered a rare glimpse of his young daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, while taking deliberate steps to protect her privacy.
The musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, brought the 16-month-old daughter he shares with Megan Fox into the latest episode of his art-focused YouTube series, Study Hall.
Saga accompanied her father during a visit with Nigerian-born, London-based artist Slawn.
Viewers could hear the toddler and see several affectionate interactions with MGK, but her face remained blurred throughout the footage.
Saga Joined MGK During His Visit With Slawn
The August 2 episode showed MGK stepping out of a vehicle while carrying Saga in one arm. “Can you say hi?” he asked as they approached the people waiting for them. “Hi,” Saga softly replied.
Slawn knelt to the toddler’s level and greeted her before the group entered his workspace. MGK continued carrying his daughter while examining the artist’s paintings and directing her attention toward the colorful pieces around them.
“Look how interesting that is,” he told her during one moment captured in the episode. Another scene showed MGK and Saga playing outside with a ball. The musician eventually lifted his daughter and spun her in a circle as she laughed.
As Page Six noted in its coverage, the father-daughter interactions remained brief and secondary to the episode’s larger focus on Slawn and his work.
The Video Maintained a Clear Privacy Boundary
Saga’s face was digitally obscured whenever it could otherwise be seen clearly, and the episode did not disclose details about her home life, routine or relationship with either parent.
MGK has previously acknowledged making a deliberate effort to keep his younger daughter’s face away from cameras, even while occasionally sharing moments from his life as a father.
He and Fox welcomed Saga on March 27, 2025. MGK later revealed her full name in June of that year, describing her arrival as the culmination of an emotional journey for both parents. According to Just Jared, the Study Hall footage represents one of Saga’s relatively few appearances in her father’s public content.

MGK offered a larger collection of family memories when he celebrated Saga’s first birthday in the spring. His Instagram tribute included photographs and videos recorded throughout her first year, including images of Saga sleeping on his chest, attending seasonal outings and spending time with her older half-sister, Casie.
MGK shares Casie, 17, with Emma Cannon. In April, the musician also marked his own 36th birthday with a video of himself reading A Day on the Farm to Saga and imitating animal sounds with her. “Usually I throw a big birthday party today, but this all I want,” he wrote alongside the clip.
‘Study Hall’ Focuses on Artists and Their Creative Methods
Study Hall follows MGK as he visits visual artists, examines their work and discusses how they develop their ideas.
Saga appeared because she accompanied her father during his visit with Slawn, not because the installment was structured as a family vlog.
The episode spent most of its running time documenting the artist’s studio, paintings and creative process. Saga’s cameo arrived near the end and functioned as a brief look at MGK balancing fatherhood with the series’ artistic setting.
E! News’ account of the appearance similarly highlighted the affectionate interaction while noting that Saga’s face was concealed.
