Leticia Cline has announced her split from American Pickers star Mike Wolfe after what she described as seven years together.

The 48-year-old shared the news in her Instagram Stories late Oct. 15. “I now realize how much that silence has cost me,” she wrote, according to USA TODAY.

Cline said she had spent the previous two months processing experiences that left her devastated. She did not identify specific misconduct or say when the relationship ended.

USA TODAY contacted Wolfe’s representative, but its Oct. 16 report did not include a response. The couple had been publicly linked since 2021.

Cline Says She Stayed Quiet Because She Believed She Was Protecting Him

In the statement, also reproduced by Parade, Cline said she had kept experiences private for a decade because she loved someone and believed her silence protected him. She contrasted the person she knew behind closed doors with the version familiar to the public.

Cline said she needed time to decide how to proceed and indicated she had more to say. She ended by saying she would no longer put a public narrative ahead of her own truth.

They Had Said Marriage Was Not Their Immediate Plan

Their collaboration included a Harley-Davidson campaign that initially centered on Cline. In a January 2024 interview with the Milwaukee Business Journal, she explained that the company approached her first, then asked whether Wolfe would participate.

The video drew on her experiences riding through Washington’s Olympic Peninsula and her late father’s influence on her love of motorcycles. Cline, a former flat-track racer who wrote about motorcycles and travel, said the company wanted to preserve her story even with Wolfe involved. He agreed that the project was primarily about her and the way she rode in her father’s honor.

In November 2024, Cline marked Wolfe’s 60th birthday with photographs of them sitting in a vintage car. She called him her “greatest adventure” and reflected on their travels, concerts and encounters with people and animals, PEOPLE reported.

At the March 2025 premiere of Day of Reckoning, in which they both appeared, the couple told The U.S. Sun they were not planning an engagement. Wolfe said he was concentrating on time with his daughter following his divorce.

Cline said their busy lives suited the arrangement. She valued her own space in Cave City, Kentucky, where she operated Ace Coffee, while Wolfe lived in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. They continued traveling together for work.

Wolfe and Cline were hospitalized after a Sept. 12, 2025, collision in Columbia, Tennessee. They had been traveling in a 1958 Porsche, Wolfe later told PEOPLE in a February interview. The car had no airbags, but he had fitted it with seatbelts.

Cline’s injuries included fractures to her jaw, sternum and ribs, along with a partially collapsed lung. She faced additional surgery after leaving the hospital. Wolfe sustained injuries to his face, wrist and knee.

On Sept. 25, Wolfe shared a black-and-white photograph taken hours before the collision. Photographer Robby Klein had come to town for a motorcycle-industry book shoot, and Wolfe recalled that the day had been going well before the crash, TV Insider reported.

He also described returning to see the damaged car and finding the experience more emotional than he expected. Cline, in a separate recovery update, thanked the medical team and those supporting her through treatment.

In December 2025, Wolfe praised Cline’s creativity and the attention she continued giving others while recovering. He recalled strangers approaching to tell her she had inspired them and admired how she made those people feel valued, according to PopCulture’s contemporaneous coverage.

His message touched on her storytelling, cooking, love of animals and handmade crafts. He ended by imagining the two of them riding motorcycles around the world.

Cline replied that the unexpected post had made her cry. She thanked him for helping through a difficult period and acknowledged that he had been carrying burdens of his own, USA TODAY reported when revisiting the exchange.

Wolfe Described Their Shared Interest in Picking in February

In a Feb. 9 interview with TV Insider, Wolfe connected Cline’s interest in collecting to her childhood near Mammoth Cave National Park. Her parents ran a roadside attraction and rock shop, and she was selling geodes to visitors at nine.

He said she had traveled with him for years and sometimes continued shopping after the American Pickers crew finished filming. Cline joked about creating her own program called The Pick After the Pick, he recalled. She would approach sellers about buying objects herself and help pack the van.

In his Feb. 21 PEOPLE interview, Wolfe said Cline had begun driving again after a lengthy break during her recovery.
