Matt Bellamy has gone public with AnneMarie Morin in a photo from her Chicago cookie shop. The Muse frontman shared a mirror selfie of the pair kissing in an Instagram carousel posted Oct. 15.

“new part time job, boss is a tough cookie,” the 48-year-old singer captioned the post, tagging Cloud Cookie.

Morin, a 34-year-old influencer and entrepreneur, reposted the photograph on her Instagram Stories, according to Us Weekly. Neither has said when the relationship began.

Bellamy is divorcing model Elle Evans, 36. The pair separated in 2025, according to PEOPLE, well before the legal proceedings began.

Bellamy wore a light blue apron over a black shirt while helping behind the counter. The carousel also showed him loading trays into an oven, speaking with customers and sampling a cookie.

Morin opened the Wrigleyville bakery in December 2020 after spending lockdown baking for the people she was quarantining with. In its 2021 coverage, The DePaulia reported that she had no prior culinary experience when she decided to turn her recipes into a business.

She transformed a gutted storefront on North Clark Street with fresh paint and neon cloud lights, getting the shop open in three months. At the time of that report, she was its only full-time employee.

The bakery’s current menu includes a double-chocolate cookie called the Cloudynoir, which shares a name with Morin’s Instagram handle. Its signature Cloud Cookie comes covered in powdered sugar, and the business offers pickup, delivery and shipping.

Morin’s Oct. 13 carousel featured photographs from England, including an image of her legs resting across a man’s lap. His face was out of frame, and she did not tag Bellamy, who liked the post, according to Page Six.

She had tagged him in an Aug. 17 post from a group trip to Moab, Utah. A Sept. 11 upload also included a photograph of her at Muse’s Aug. 31 Hollywood Bowl concert in Los Angeles.

Bellamy Requested Sole Custody in His Divorce Filing

Bellamy filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Aug. 12, citing irreconcilable differences. Court documents obtained by Us Weekly showed that he requested sole legal and physical custody of daughter Lovella, 6, and son George, 2. Evans told TMZ she would contest custody, calling the marriage “unbearable” and the filing “a long time coming.”

The petition also asked that spousal support for Evans follow the terms of their prenuptial agreement and that Bellamy’s own eligibility for support be terminated. No specific separation date was listed in the filing.

The couple began dating in 2015 and married in August 2019. Bellamy also shares 15-year-old son Bingham with former fiancée Kate Hudson, whom he dated from 2010 to 2014.

Hudson discussed their relationship as parents on a 2025 episode of How to Fail, saying they remained close after recognizing that they were not right for each other as a couple. She said they had tried hard to make the relationship work before ending their engagement.

His Separation Shaped Muse’s ‘The Wow! Signal’

Muse’s tenth album, The Wow! Signal, arrived in June. Bellamy discussed its origins in a June 26 interview with The i Paper, with excerpts published by Us Weekly. “It was a set of really unexpected circumstances,” he said of the breakup, explaining that his priority had become caring for his children and creating a stable home.

Bellamy said the songs came more easily than he had expected as he worked through that period. “It became a lifeline for me,” he told the newspaper. He described “Space Debris” as one of his most personal recordings and said “Shimmering Scars” remained difficult to revisit.

In a separate June interview with The Sun, Bellamy recalled wanting to record five or six vocal takes of the latter song and assemble the strongest parts. Producer Dan Lancaster encouraged him to retain a rougher performance, including imperfections the singer initially wanted to correct.

“Nightshift Superstar” drew on happier memories of visiting Burning Man with Evans and dancing through the night. “The whole album isn’t just whining,” he told The i Paper.
