Dancing With the Stars pro Pasha Pashkov says he is doing well after a rehearsal accident with Amber Glenn left him with a bloody nose and brought paramedics into the studio.
Following Tuesday’s Yacht Rock Night, Pashkov told Entertainment Weekly that he was “feeling good” after Glenn accidentally caught him in the face with her arm while they practiced their foxtrot to Toto’s “Hold the Line.”
“It looked a lot worse than it felt. Trust me,” Pashkov said. He then joked that getting hurt was “just another Monday for dancers.”
The accident did not prevent Pashkov from performing. He and Glenn returned for the live show and received three 8s from the judges for a total of 24 points, their highest score of the season so far.

Glenn struck Pashkov while the pair were working through their foxtrot in rehearsal. The session stopped immediately as blood began coming from his nose.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Pashkov also felt lightheaded and nauseous after the hit. Paramedics examined him as Glenn repeatedly apologized for hurting her partner.
Glenn later broke down during a confessional and said she had never caused someone physical pain like that before. The Olympic figure skater explained that she wanted to be especially cautious with Pashkov after seeing what had happened.
She eventually found some humor in the situation, joking that she wanted to wrap him in bubble wrap before sending him on his way.

Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli each awarded the pair an 8 for their foxtrot, giving them 24 points.
Inaba praised Glenn’s improvement since the beginning of the competition. The routine also allowed the skater to bring part of her athletic background into the ballroom, including a layback spin adapted to fit the choreography.
Glenn credited Pashkov with finding ways to combine figure skating with ballroom technique rather than treating her experience on the ice as something separate from her new discipline.
Pashkov later praised his partner on Instagram Stories, writing that he was proud of her performance. Glenn and Pashkov remain among the Season 35 couples competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, according to ABC.
