Quinton “Rampage” Jackson demonstrated the effectiveness of a professional MMA submission on one unusually willing volunteer, Jackass performer Poopies.
Footage from the upcoming extreme-reality series Sports Hurts shows the former UFC light heavyweight champion applying a rear-naked choke until Poopies loses consciousness.
The stunt was planned for the show, and Poopies explicitly agreed to participate before Jackson secured the hold. Steve-O watched the demonstration remotely through a FaceTime call.

The footage begins with Poopies, whose real name is Sean McInerney, standing inside a ring with Jackson positioned behind him. Before the demonstration began, Poopies made clear that he trusted the former UFC champion to perform the submission. “There’s no other person I’d rather have choke me out than Mr. Rampage Jackson,” he said.
Jackson then placed his arm around Poopies’ neck and tightened the rear-naked choke. Poopies lost consciousness within seconds and went limp before Jackson released the hold.
When the stunt performer regained consciousness, he looked around the room in confusion and appeared to need several moments to understand what had happened. “Holy s***!” he said after coming to.
Steve-O Watched the Stunt Through FaceTime
Steve-O did not appear to be physically present at the filming location. Instead, Poopies and members of the production team called him before Jackson applied the hold. The longtime Jackass performer watched the stunt unfold live from a phone positioned near the ring.
His remote appearance connected the segment to Poopies’ work with the wider Jackass franchise, although Sports Hurts is a separate production rather than an officially announced installment of the MTV and Paramount series.
Poopies joined the franchise through Jackass Forever and Jackass 4.5, where he became known for volunteering for stunts involving animals, heights and physical punishment.

Sports Hurts stars Poopies and YouTube creator Houston Jones as they attempt challenges inspired by some of the most painful and physically demanding moments in sports.
Jackson’s choke represents the mixed martial arts portion of that concept. The show is expected to place its participants alongside professional athletes who can demonstrate the force, technique and punishment involved in their respective sports.
Other announced guests include former NFL quarterback Cam Newton, Olympic gold medalist and professional wrestler Kurt Angle, and skateboarder Ryan Sheckler. Behind-the-scenes material has also shown the cast experimenting with smelling salts and preparing for additional sports-related challenges.
TMZ released a separate preview describing the series as bringing “Jackass-style chaos” into the sports world. Production on Sports Hurts has reportedly finished. The series does not yet have a confirmed network, streaming platform or premiere date.
