Savannah Guthrie and Michael Feldman apparently were not finished with the U.S. Open after their August date night.

The Today co-anchor returned to Arthur Ashe Stadium with her husband on September 13 for the men’s singles final. TMZ photographed the couple smiling together before heading inside, with Guthrie wearing a black top and colorful skirt.

The outing came less than three weeks after Guthrie and Feldman attended a different U.S. Open event together on August 25. That night, they watched Roger Federer return to the court for exhibition matches involving Andy Roddick and Andre Agassi.

The two appearances have offered rare public glimpses of the couple during an intensely private year for their family. Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, has remained missing since February, and Feldman has largely stayed beside his wife.

They Came Back for the Biggest Match of the Tournament

Guthrie and Feldman were at Arthur Ashe Stadium for the championship match between Germany’s Alexander Zverev and American Ben Shelton.

Zverev ultimately won 6-3, 7-6(2), 5-7, 6-2, claiming his first U.S. Open title and second Grand Slam championship of the season. The Associated Press reported that Shelton was attempting to become the first American man to win the tournament since Andy Roddick in 2003.

Guthrie and Feldman were part of a particularly celebrity-heavy final day in Queens. Brad Pitt, Martha Stewart, Courteney Cox and other familiar faces were also photographed around the tournament as the final weekend wrapped up.

Their August U.S. Open Night Had a Very Different Feel

The couple’s first trip to the tournament this year came before the main draw had settled into its biggest matches. On August 25, they attended an exhibition event built around Federer, who played with and against fellow retired stars.

E! News described that appearance as a rare date night for Guthrie and Feldman. She wore a sleeveless Dolce & Gabbana floral dress with gold jewelry, while Feldman arrived in a blue blazer and white shirt.

Feldman Has Stayed Close During a Difficult Year

Guthrie has made it clear in her own posts that her husband has been a major source of support for their family. On Father’s Day in June, she shared a photograph of Feldman with their children, Vale and Charley, and called him “our hero.”

Feldman had offered similar words on Mother’s Day, describing Guthrie as “the strongest person I know.” The couple married in March 2014 and welcomed Vale that August, their son Charley followed in December 2016.
