Sofía Vergara and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds have sparked dating rumors after a weekend dinner together, less than three weeks after news broke that the musician and Minka Kelly had separated.
Photographs obtained by TMZ show Reynolds, 39, reaching across the table to hold Vergara’s hand as she smiles at him. The 54-year-old actress and the singer were at Cipriani in Beverly Hills on Saturday, October 24.
Reynolds and Kelly had been together for four years. A source close to the former couple told PEOPLE on October 7 that their breakup had “happened recently,” without providing a date or reason.
Neither Vergara nor Reynolds has confirmed a relationship. Representatives for both had not responded to requests for comment when Page Six published its account of the outing on October 25.
Anastasia Soare Joined Them for the Evening

The two were dining with friends. Beauty entrepreneur Anastasia Soare, founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills and a longtime friend of Vergara’s, joined the table, along with another man seated beside Reynolds.
Vergara wore a sleeveless top and had her dark hair down. TMZ also published video from the gathering alongside the photographs, which were credited to BACKGRID.
The outlet reported that Vergara and Reynolds left together through the restaurant’s rear entrance around 12:30 a.m. That departure detail came from its reporting rather than the dinner photographs.
Reynolds and Kelly Connected Before Meeting in Person
Reynolds and Kelly began dating in 2022 after a mutual friend introduced them. They were first photographed together that November during a dinner outing in Los Angeles.
In a July 2024 interview with PEOPLE, Reynolds explained that Kelly was working in the United Kingdom when they started speaking. They talked by phone for a month before meeting, getting to know each other through projects they had not yet shared with the public.
Reynolds sent her unfinished music, while Kelly shared drafts of her memoir, Tell Me Everything. He recalled reading about her childhood and experiences before they had spent time together face to face.
“I’ve never had that kind of introduction to someone,” he said.
Reynolds was previously married to singer Aja Volkman. They announced their separation in 2022 and share four children.
Kelly Shared a Message About Soulmates Earlier This Month
Kelly and Reynolds made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles on May 30, 2026. Kelly subsequently shared photographs from the event on Instagram, describing the evening as a date night.
In July, she posted a birthday tribute praising Reynolds for making her laugh and bringing affection and excitement to everyday life. He also appeared in a playful skincare video she shared in August.
On October 18, Kelly published a carousel of photographs showing time with friends and other outings. Its final slide contained a message about soulmates and the ways relationships can change someone’s life.
As Entertainment Weekly reported, the message encouraged appreciating what a relationship taught someone rather than concentrating on holding on to it. Kelly did not name Reynolds or explain their breakup in the post.
Vergara Has Spoken About Dating After Her Divorce
Vergara married Joe Manganiello in November 2015. They announced their separation in July 2023 and finalized their divorce the following year.
Manganiello revisited their marriage in his memoir, Bloodlines, released October 13. The book includes his account of a prolonged health crisis and allegations about Vergara’s behavior during that period.
After excerpts circulated, Vergara reposted an Instagram Story from her son, Manolo, comparing the behavior of good men and narcissistic men. The post did not name Manganiello, and she did not confirm that it referred to him.
Vergara had previously discussed returning to dating during a May 2025 appearance on Today. According to Us Weekly, she recalled initially feeling panicked about finding a partner in her 50s, but said she wanted someone fun and had become more comfortable waiting.
“I’m not really in a hurry anymore,” she said.
