Sydney Sweeney has reportedly met with two rabbis while considering conversion to Judaism amid discussions about her future with boyfriend Scooter Braun, Page Six reported Oct. 5.
“The couple is discussing having their own family and Scooter feels strongly on the subject,” a source told the publication.
Page Six also cited a witness who saw the couple attending Rosh Hashanah services in Connecticut. Neither Sweeney nor Braun has publicly announced the conversion or family plans described in the report.
A source told PEOPLE in September that the relationship was “very serious” and that Sweeney was spending time with Braun’s children. He shares three children with former wife Yael Cohen; their divorce was finalized in September 2022.

The couple first connected around Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s June 2025 wedding celebrations in Venice. Sweeney had ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino before the new relationship began.
On May 1, 2026, she included Braun in a collection of Stagecoach photographs captioned “cowboy kind of weekend,” ELLE reported. It was her first Instagram grid post featuring him, following their appearance together on Instagram Stories in April.
Later that month, Braun spoke about Sweeney on Suzy Weiss’ Second Thought podcast. He praised her kindness and intelligence and acknowledged watching Euphoria, telling Weiss he was biased about one particular actress’ performance, according to PEOPLE.
Asked what came next for him, he said he was enjoying his relationship, children and friends. The pair returned to Venice together on Sept. 3, with Braun accompanying Sweeney as she traveled for work.

On Sept. 12, Braun shared footage of himself and Sweeney slow-dancing in front of a castle, Us Weekly reported. He lifted her into his arms during the video, and they kissed. His accompanying message credited her with showing him a “true partnership.”
“You’ve made the ordinary feel exciting and the future feel like something I can’t wait to get to,” he wrote. Braun also described enjoying their playful side and said the most important things he wanted to tell her would remain between them.
Sweeney had celebrated his 45th birthday on June 18 with two Instagram Stories of her own. One showed her kissing his cheek, another showed them dancing on a basketball court while wearing jerseys, PEOPLE reported. In her messages, she praised his generosity and thanked him for their living-room dances and for making her smile again.

“I think about having four kids,” Sweeney told GLAMOUR UK in December 2023, before her relationship with Braun. She imagined teaching them to ski, taking them hiking and building tree houses together.
Working in Los Angeles or New York, she thought marriage and children before 30 would be premature. Visiting home, where friends and cousins were starting families, could leave her feeling behind. Although she liked planning her year, she acknowledged that parenthood might resist a precise schedule. Asked whether she expected to marry first, she said her grandmothers would prefer it but left the order open.
She also worried about how becoming a mother would affect the roles she was offered and whether the industry would continue to see her as being at the top of her career. Without deliberately making room for a family, she said, “I’ll just work my entire life away.”
