Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are back to dinner dates in New York, and their latest restaurant fits one of Kelce’s newer food interests.

The newlyweds dined at Ambassadors Clubhouse in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood on September 6. Photos obtained by Page Six showed Kelce holding Swift close as they walked from their SUV toward the restaurant.

Swift wore a metallic brown and gold Stella McCartney halter dress, while Kelce paired a striped silk shirt with brown trousers. A source told PEOPLE that they were joined by two men and ate in the restaurant’s lower ground main dining area.

Kelce has spent the past two years becoming more adventurous with Indian food. He previously credited Swift with helping him open up to the cuisine, then raved about a London dinner at Gymkhana earlier this year.

They Spent Sunday Night at Ambassadors Clubhouse

PEOPLE reported that Swift and Kelce shared a four-person table and ordered “a variety of classics from the menu” along with drinks. The source did not identify what either of them ordered individually.

Ambassadors Clubhouse specializes in food from North India’s Punjab region. The restaurant’s current menu moves from papads and chaat through tandoor dishes, kebabs, curries and biryani, with larger dishes intended for sharing.

The restaurant describes its NoMad dining rooms as inspired by the grand party mansions of Northern India. Its lower ground floor can accommodate up to 70 guests, while smaller private rooms sit elsewhere in the restaurant.

Swift’s dress was a Stella McCartney design with diagonal brown and metallic stripes and a gold chain neckline. Kelce wore a striped silk shirt with brown trousers, giving the two outfits a similar pattern without either of them commenting publicly on whether they planned it.

The restaurant had only recently reopened. A fire broke out outside Ambassadors Clubhouse while it was closed on August 12. No injuries were reported, and Eater reported that the restaurant reopened on August 18.

Swift Helped Get Kelce Into Indian Food

Kelce’s interest in Indian food predates this dinner. During an October 2024 episode of New Heights, he told brother Jason Kelce that he was beginning to open up to Indian cuisine.

Jason responded, “I know, my girl Tay is getting you opened up.” Travis answered simply, “She is.”

That interest had gone considerably further by May 2026. Swift and Kelce ate at the two Michelin star Gymkhana in London before seeing Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe in Romeo & Juliet on the West End. They were joined at dinner by cinematographer Rina Yang.

Kelce later called Gymkhana “one of the most surprising meals” he had eaten during a May 13 episode of New Heights. He said he stopped asking what each plate was and simply tried what the table ordered, with his main question becoming how spicy each dish would be.

Jason also challenged his brother’s longtime reputation as a picky eater. Travis admitted that description had once been accurate, although he argued it no longer was. Kylie Kelce has similarly said Swift helped make him more adventurous with food.

It Was Their First NYC Dinner Date Since the Wedding

The Ambassadors Clubhouse outing came just over two months after Swift and Kelce married at Madison Square Garden on July 3. It was their first photographed New York dinner date as a married couple.

They had already appeared publicly together after the wedding. Exactly one week later, the pair attended JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk’s wedding at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California. PEOPLE photographed Swift and Kelce among the guests, both wearing their new wedding rings.

Kelce later called his own wedding the “best night of my life” during Chiefs training camp. On New Heights, he said Madison Square Garden gave them the privacy they wanted and confirmed that guests were asked to put away their phones so people could stay present during the celebration.

He also said one of his favorite parts was watching friends and relatives from different periods of their lives meet one another. His only complaint was that the night seemed to pass too quickly.

Kelce’s attention now returns to football. The Chiefs open their regular season against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on September 14 at 8:15 p.m. ET, beginning Kelce’s 14th NFL season.
