Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden wedding was guarded by NDAs, phone restrictions and strict access rules, and some venue workers reportedly lost their jobs after alleged privacy breaches.
TMZ reported that Madison Square Garden reportedly parted ways with staff members who violated nondisclosure agreements tied to the couple’s July 3 wedding. The outlet said the firings were first reported by Bloomberg News reporter Myles Miller.
The report arrived one day after Swift and Kelce married at MSG in front of a star-heavy crowd. MSG has not publicly confirmed the reported employee departures.
The Wedding Had Strict NDA and Phone Rules
TMZ reported that phones were taken from people entering the venue, including law enforcement personnel working inside the event.
The goal was to keep photos, videos and inside details from leaking before the couple or their team released anything themselves. The rule fit with weeks of reporting about how tightly the MSG event was being controlled.
TMZ had previously reported that wedding guests were asked to sign NDAs before the celebration, with the documents prohibiting them from sharing details about the event.
MSG Employees Had Already Faced Access Limits

The reported firings followed days of unusual restrictions around the arena. Page Six previously reported that MSG corporate employees were banned from the arena ahead of Swift and Kelce’s wedding.
The outlet reported that employees were not given a reason for the restriction and that the limits were expected to remain in place through July 5. Production staff also reportedly had to follow strict rules involving phone access, wristbands and limited event information.
The restrictions made the wedding less like a normal private rental and more like a full security operation inside one of New York City’s most visible venues.
The Lockdown Still Did Not Stop Details From Getting Out
Even with NDAs and phone restrictions, several reported ceremony and reception details still became public.
TMZ reported that Sandler sang an original song for Swift and Kelce while officiating. The outlet also reported that Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters served as flower girls, Swift walked down the aisle to one of her own songs played on strings, Zero Bond catered the party and guests were entertained with carnival-style games.
Reuters confirmed the broader official details, including the marriage, Sandler’s role as officiant and the family-centered wedding party. The outlet also reported that “JUST&T MARRIED!” flashed on screens outside Madison Square Garden after the ceremony.

Swift and Kelce’s wedding was already one of the year’s biggest celebrity events, with roughly 1,000 guests and a guest list that mixed music, film, television and sports figures.
