Tommy Fury has faced criticism after questioning Kim Kardashian’s reported reliance on a large childcare team before acknowledging that he and Molly-Mae Hague also receive help raising their children.

The boxer discussed Kardashian’s household with his father, John Fury, on the BBC video podcast What the Fury?!. Their conversation began with a media claim that Kardashian has “10 nannies and mannies” helping care for the four children she shares with Kanye West.

John argued that people who cannot look after their children themselves should not have them, while Tommy questioned parents who leave their children with childcare staff throughout the day.

Tommy then acknowledged that he and Hague have help with their three-year-old daughter Bambi and infant son Midas.

During the BBC discussion, Tommy read out a claim stating that Kardashian had “10 nannies and mannies raising Kim Kardashian’s kids.” “If you can’t look after these kids yourself, don’t have them,” John responded.

Tommy briefly cautioned that they did not know Kardashian’s complete circumstances before adding that he did not understand people who “dump the kids with nannies and mannies all day.”

John described that level of childcare as excessive and contrasted it with his own upbringing, saying his mother raised a large family without paid help.

Fury Then Admitted He and Molly-Mae Also Have Help

During the same conversation, Tommy acknowledged that he and Hague use childcare assistance themselves. “I’m all for having some help on board and help you out, me and Molly, we have help,” he said.

Tommy argued that their arrangement was different because he and Hague remain closely involved with their children and use the additional help when work commitments require it. “But we’re with Bambi every day, all day; it’s only if I’ve got to go on a call or Molly’s on a call or we’ve got to shoot out,” he said.

Hague had already publicly acknowledged the family’s use of a nanny in 2025. During Molly-Mae: Behind It All, she said they had childcare at home on some workdays and regretted previously avoiding the subject because she worried about criticism. “It isn’t round the clock care. It’s just when we need it when we’re working,” Hague said at the time.

Some Viewers Called the Comments Hypocritical

Several commenters objected to him criticizing Kardashian’s childcare arrangements while acknowledging that his own family receives paid help. One commenter quoted by The Sun wrote, “A man with a full time nanny judging a woman with a full time nanny!”

Another argued that working parents should not be criticized simply for having childcare assistance, while other responses took issue with Tommy and John discussing Kardashian’s parenting without firsthand knowledge of her household.

Kardashian Has Not Confirmed That She Employs 10 Nannies

Kardashian shares North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with her ex-husband Kanye West. The Sun previously reported, citing unnamed insiders, that Kardashian uses a rotating team of childcare workers, including overnight coverage, with staff receiving information about each child’s schedule and needs. Kardashian has not publicly confirmed that she employs exactly 10 nannies.
