Travis Kelce treated a fake Taylor Swift wedding photo exactly like what it was: a joke.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end reacted after comedian Bert Kreischer posted an AI-generated image that made it look as if Kreischer had crashed Kelce and Swift’s wedding. PEOPLE reported that Kelce responded in the comments with laughing emojis.
The post arrived Thursday, July 2, just hours before Swift and Kelce’s reported rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The image was an AI-generated gag from Kreischer, and Kelce’s reaction kept it in that lane.

Kreischer’s post showed AI-generated versions of Swift and Kelce dressed like a bride and groom, with the comedian standing between them. Swift appeared in a white wedding dress while Kelce appeared in a suit, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The joke was in the caption. “The moment @jason.kelce called me over to the bar for a shot,” Kreischer wrote.
Kelce did not issue a long response or try to explain the image away. PEOPLE reported that he replied with a row of crying-laughing emojis, joining the joke instead of turning the fake photo into a bigger issue.
