Addison Rae’s name has surfaced in a new court fight involving her father, Monty Lopez, and his estranged wife, Kaitlyn Lopez.
Monty is asking a judge to intervene in the dispute, according to TMZ, which reported that he claims Kaitlyn violated a temporary protective order and continued posting about his daughter and family online.
TMZ reported that Monty claims Kaitlyn has posted photos of Addison on Instagram Stories and used Addison’s songs in social media posts.
The outlet did not report that Addison has publicly responded to being mentioned in the dispute.

In the new legal documents, Monty claims Kaitlyn “continues to post my daughter and my family on multiple occasions,” according to TMZ. He also claims she posted photos of Addison and used Addison’s music in posts while the divorce and protective-order issues continued.
Monty also alleged that Kaitlyn posted photos of the two of them as a couple and asked the public for money. TMZ reported that he is asking the court to step in after previously obtaining a temporary protective order against her.
The Filing Follows a Temporary Protective Order
TMZ reported that Monty claims Kaitlyn violated a temporary protective order by contacting him multiple times despite being ordered not to do so. The order was part of an earlier legal dispute tied to their breakup.
In May, TMZ reported that Monty had filed for divorce from Kaitlyn after a short marriage and a series of legal issues. Court documents cited by the outlet said the two married in Las Vegas on October 25, 2025, and separated on November 15.
That earlier report said police had responded to Monty’s home on April 23 and that Monty was arrested on April 28 on a felony charge of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. TMZ also reported that Monty later sought a protective order against Kaitlyn, alleging she had a gun during a recent altercation and claiming there had been multiple physical conflicts during their relationship.
Kaitlyn denied the weapon claim in comments to TMZ. She told the outlet she did not threaten anyone with a weapon and said the situation had affected her safety, finances and ability to function day to day.
The Marriage Became Public After a Las Vegas Ceremony
Monty and Kaitlyn’s marriage first became public in October 2025 after a whirlwind Las Vegas ceremony. PEOPLE reported that Monty married Kaitlyn Nicole Robins at the Little Chapel of Hearts on October 25 after a two-week romance.
Monty told TMZ at the time that it was a private ceremony and that no loved ones attended, including Addison. “I didn’t tell anyone,” he said. “I just followed my heart and I’ve never been happier. I love this woman!”
PEOPLE reported that Monty later addressed the fast marriage in a statement, saying the decision “wasn’t about rushing” but about recognizing something real. The outlet also reported that Kaitlyn shared an Instagram Stories post calling them “Mr. & Mrs. Lopez.”
By May 2026, the marriage had moved into divorce court. TMZ reported that the divorce filing came after the police response at Monty’s Louisiana home, his April arrest and the temporary protection order involving Kaitlyn.
Addison Rae Has Not Commented on the Latest Dispute
The singer and actress released her debut album, Addison, on June 6, according to PEOPLE. The outlet reported in October 2025 that Addison was supporting the album with an international tour.
Monty was previously married to Sheri Easterling, with whom he shares Addison and sons Enzo and Lucas. PEOPLE reported that Monty and Sheri married in 2004, divorced a few years later, married again in 2017 and split in 2022.
