Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly upset after David and Victoria Beckham included him in their Father’s Day posts despite the family’s ongoing public rift.

The eldest Beckham child appeared in both of his parents’ Instagram tributes on Sunday, June 21. David marked Father’s Day with throwback photos of his children, while Victoria praised her husband as a father and shared an older family image that included Brooklyn.

The Sun reported that Brooklyn, 27, was “furious” after learning about the posts through people close to him and media coverage. The outlet said he had previously asked his parents not to tag him in online posts.

The Father’s Day posts came after months of public distance between Brooklyn and his parents, including his absence from major Beckham family events and his recent World Cup-themed DoorDash ad.

Victoria shared a photo of David with Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper from a previous family holiday. “David you truly are the best daddy,” she wrote, according to The Standard. “Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.”

David also posted photos with each of his children, including Brooklyn. His caption read, “Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family,” according to The Sun.

Romeo and Cruz publicly marked Father’s Day with tributes to David. Brooklyn did not post a Father’s Day message for his father, The Standard reported.

A Source Said Brooklyn Wants the Posts to Stop

The Sun reported that Brooklyn had asked his parents not to tag him in posts and said the Father’s Day tributes reopened the issue.

“He’s fuming about it,” an insider told the outlet. “He’s asked them to leave him alone and they just keep posting him.”

The source also claimed the posts “bring the whole thing up all over again” and that Brooklyn “wishes they’d leave it and leave him alone.” The Sun said it reached out to Brooklyn’s representative for comment.

The same report said Brooklyn has blocked his family online and is understood to have seen the posts through people close to him and through media reports.

The Family Rift Went Public in January

The tension became more public earlier this year, when Brooklyn issued a lengthy statement about his family and his marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham.

The Independent reported that Brooklyn claimed his parents had been “trying endlessly” to “ruin” his relationship with Nicola since before their wedding. He also alleged that his wife had been disrespected by the family and that David and Victoria controlled press narratives around “Brand Beckham.”

Brooklyn married Nicola, the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, in 2022. The Standard reported that since the January statement, Brooklyn has not made a public appearance with his parents or acknowledged them on social media.

Days before the Father’s Day posts, Brooklyn appeared in a DoorDash ad tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In the commercial, he appeared at home with World Cup tickets and said, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets. Um… it’s because… it’s a long story.”

The Independent reported that the ad then showed Brooklyn handing over the tickets to a delivery driver and saying they could go to “someone else.” His Instagram caption for the campaign said he had asked DoorDash to drop his World Cup tickets for fans.

David and Victoria have not publicly addressed The Sun’s new report about Brooklyn’s alleged reaction to the Father’s Day posts.
