Gisele Bündchen marked Father’s Day with a tribute to Joaquim Valente and her own father, Valdir Bündchen.
The supermodel’s post did not mention Tom Brady, her ex-husband and the father of her two older children, Benjamin and Vivian.
Bündchen praised Valente as an “incredible role model” and thanked him for the example he sets for their family, according to People. She also included a message for Valdir, writing about the strength, kindness and love he showed her growing up.
Brady had included Bündchen in a Mother’s Day post the previous month, sharing photos of her with their children. Bündchen’s Father’s Day post focused on Valente and Valdir instead.

In the Father’s Day caption, Bündchen thanked Valente for his “love, humility, integrity, discipline, kindness and consistency,” according to People. Page Six reported that the carousel included photos of Valente with the couple’s young son and with Bündchen’s older children.
Bündchen and Valente welcomed their first child together in 2025.
Tom Brady Was Not Included
Brady was not named in the Father’s Day caption and did not appear as a focus of the tribute. Bündchen and Brady share Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, and finalized their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
InStyle noted the contrast with Brady’s Mother’s Day post, which included Bündchen alongside other mothers in his life. Brady also shares son Jack with Bridget Moynahan.
Bündchen did not add a public explanation for leaving Brady out.
Gisele and Brady Share Two Children
Bündchen and Brady married in 2009 and announced their divorce in 2022. Since then, both have continued to share public glimpses of family life with their children, while keeping most co-parenting details private.
Valente, a jiu-jitsu instructor, became part of Bündchen’s public family story after her split from Brady. People reported that Bündchen and Valente privately married in Surfside, Florida, after keeping much of their relationship low-profile.
She Also Honored Her Father
Bündchen’s post also included a Father’s Day message for Valdir. She thanked him for being her example and wrote about the love and support he gave her.
The Father’s Day tribute paired that message for her father with the newer photos of Valente. Brady, who had honored Bündchen on Mother’s Day, was not part of the post.
