Jessie James Decker wasn’t willing to ignore the bare foot resting on her airplane armrest. She reached for a small spray bottle and aimed it at the foot, which quickly withdrew. The singer covered her mouth while laughing.
The 38-year-old shared the recording on Instagram on October 28, PEOPLE reported. Before reaching for the bottle, she had covered her nose and mouth. “Someone’s foot smells so bad on the plane,” she wrote over the footage.
“Before you come at me … What would you have done?” she asked in the caption. Suggestions included tickling the foot or drawing on it with a marker, according to Page Six. Other commenters said they would have responded as she did.
Some viewers questioned whether the encounter involved a stranger at all. They suspected the person behind her was her husband, former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker, whom she married in 2013.

“Have you seen Eric’s feet? Toeeeee UP,” she replied to a commenter who suggested the foot belonged to him, according to Entertainment Weekly. She did not identify the person in the recording.
Decker also responded to a different suggestion about her approach. One viewer proposed making a loud sneezing sound while using the bottle.
“Oh that’s gooddd,” she wrote back. The exchange appeared among comments debating the passenger’s use of the armrest and her decision to intervene.

Days later, Decker shared a carousel from the family’s Halloween celebrations. She dressed as Scarlet Witch, while Eric wore a Captain America costume. Their four children, Vivianne, Eric Jr., Forrest and Denver, joined them in Marvel-inspired outfits.
The post, captioned “The last week of October,” included photographs of the family together and a note directing followers to the final slide. That video featured Decker’s brother-in-law Anthony Bass dressed as Spider-Man.
Bass picked her up and ran away while Eric, still wearing his Captain America outfit, chased after them.
