Katie Price gave herself little recovery time between cosmetic work in Brussels and one of British television’s biggest red carpets.
The 48-year-old media personality attended the National Television Awards at London’s O2 Arena on Sept. 8, posing alongside her daughter Princess Andre. Only hours earlier, Price had shown followers the swelling and bruising she was dealing with after undergoing procedures the previous day.
Price said she had gone to Brussels because one breast remained slightly larger than the other and an implant needed to be replaced. Once the correction was underway, she said, she decided to add more volume to both breasts and also received facial filler while under anesthesia, according to Just Jared.
By Tuesday morning, Price said her face was sore and swollen enough that she thought she looked “like a hamster.” By that evening, she had switched makeup artists, slicked back her hair and walked the NTAs carpet in a white shirt, black lace shorts, tights and heels.
Price Was Still Swollen When She Started Getting Ready

Before the red carpet, Price showed followers the immediate aftermath of the procedures and explained why she had returned to Brussels. “One of my boobs was still slightly bigger than the other,” she said, explaining that one implant was replaced. Price then said she asked for “a bit more in both of them” while the breast work was being done.
The facial filler was a separate addition. Price said she had noticed hollowing around the sides of her face as she got older and lost weight and asked for filler while she was already asleep for the operation.
She attributed the appearance of her cheeks the following morning to swelling from that work. “I look like a hamster and it’s sore,” Price said. She also had visible bruising around her eyes while documenting her preparations for the awards.
Her Original Glam Squad Backed Out Before the NTAs
She said the glam team she had originally expected to work with decided not to do the NTAs after the two sides disagreed over what she should wear. “Originally I did have a glam squad but they passed on doing my glam for the NTAs because I wouldn’t wear the outfits they wanted me to,” Price explained.
She kept her own clothing choice and brought in a different makeup artist, saying the person would have to “cover all this up” as she pointed to the visible signs of the previous day’s procedures. Us Weekly reported that the finished makeup featured a heavily bronzed complexion, dark eye makeup and dark lip liner.
Price had also removed her hair extensions because she wanted her hair scraped tightly back into what she described as a wet look. Price said the original team’s decision may have done her a favor because she wanted something different from the looks she normally sees on red carpets.
Price Estimates She Has Had 30 to 40 Cosmetic Procedures
The Brussels trip adds another entry to a cosmetic-surgery history Price has discussed openly for years, although even she says she no longer knows the exact number. During an appearance on Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection, Price was asked how many procedures she believed she had undergone. After struggling to calculate the total, she estimated “maybe about 30 or 40.”
The ITV series examines the cost, trends and risks surrounding cosmetic procedures. Price has publicly discussed repeated breast operations and facelifts as well as work including a lip lift and procedures on other parts of her body.

Price ultimately arrived at The O2 in the white shirt and black lace shorts she had chosen for herself, adding black tights, heels and the slicked-back hairstyle she had previewed earlier in the day.
Princess provided a sharp contrast in a sparkling light-blue gown with her blonde hair worn in loose waves. Price had told followers while getting ready that she had encouraged her daughter to be more adventurous with her own outfit choice.
The mother and daughter posed together for photographers on the carpet. Princess’s older brother Junior Andre was also at the ceremony and was photographed separately with his sister.
