North West has addressed the abrupt cancellation of her first co-headlining tour just days before she was expected to take the stage.
The 13-year-old musician was scheduled to begin the Molly x North Kimokawaii Tour with rapper Molly Santana on August 5 at the House of Blues in Dallas.
The 14-date run was supposed to continue through August before concluding at The Novo in Los Angeles on August 27.
After the shows were marked as canceled across ticketing platforms and the tour’s official webpage disappeared, North confirmed that the planned concerts were no longer happening.

North shared a brief statement through her Instagram Stories on July 30. “I was really excited to go on tour w Molly Santana,” she wrote. “Sadly it isn’t happening anymore but I have something special for u guys. See ya soon.”
Complex reported that listings for all 14 dates appeared to have been canceled less than one week before the scheduled opening night. Ticketmaster marked the Dallas and Toronto concerts as canceled, while the AXS listing for the August 27 performance in Los Angeles carried a similar notice. The tour page linked through Santana’s website also began returning an error message.
Molly Santana Apologizes to Fans Who Made Plans
Santana, 21, issued a longer statement acknowledging that some fans had already purchased tickets, arranged transportation or changed their schedules to attend the shows. “To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize,” she wrote.
“I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard-earned money planning to be there.” Santana said performing for her supporters and creating memories with them remained important to her despite the canceled run. “Nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share more amazing memories with you all and I hope to see you soon,” she continued.
“You are all so greatly appreciated and please know that I never take your time or support lightly.” She promised to make the cancellation up to fans before teasing her forthcoming project. “I love y’all so much and I promise I will make this one up to you,” Santana wrote. “Black Punk otw & be right back.”
Ticket Holders Are Expected to Receive Refunds
Cancellation notices on Ticketmaster said refunds would be issued automatically to the payment method originally used to purchase the tickets.
The company advised customers that refunds should appear within 14 to 21 days after it receives the necessary funds from the event organizer. When tickets were transferred to another person, the refund would return to the original purchaser.
An August 25 performance at The Midway in San Francisco remained visible on the venue’s website after other dates were removed. The planned itinerary also included Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Phoenix and other stops before the Los Angeles finale.
The Tour Was Announced Less Than Two Months Earlier

North and Santana announced the Kimokawaii Tour in June after appearing together at two major music festivals. The tour’s name referenced “kimokawaii,” a Japanese term generally used for something that is simultaneously strange or unsettling and cute. The title also matched the colorful, punk-influenced imagery the artists used in the promotional campaign.
The run would have marked North’s first extended headlining concert experience following several high-profile guest appearances and festival sets. Kim Kardashian promoted the tour after its announcement, sharing the poster and asking her followers, “Are you ready?” Tickets went on sale in June, with the artists continuing to promote individual venues in the weeks before the cancellation.
North Released Her Debut EP in May
North released her six-track debut EP, N0rth4evr, on May 1. The project includes “Piercing On My Hand,” a song in which she addresses public attention surrounding her appearance, blue hair, piercings and growing visibility as a performer.
Members of the Kardashian-Jenner family supported the release publicly, with Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian and Rob Kardashian among those who shared the music through their social media accounts.
North previously appeared alongside her father, Ye, on “Talking / Once Again,” a track from the 2024 album Vultures 1 with Ty Dolla Sign. She also performed in its music video.
In 2025, she contributed a verse in English and Japanese to FKA Twigs’ “Childlike Things” from the album Eusexua and later appeared in the song’s official video.
North and Santana Had Already Performed Together
North made a surprise appearance during Santana’s set at Rolling Loud in Orlando on May 9. The pair performed an unreleased song during what was described as North’s music festival debut.
They reunited at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Bridgeview, Illinois, on June 12. North performed songs from N0rth4evr before Santana joined her for the live debut of their collaboration “Aishite.”
