Prince William made an unexpected appearance in Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights world on the same day Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were widely reported to be holding their larger wedding celebration in New York City.
The Prince of Wales appeared in a teaser for the Friday, July 3 episode of New Heights, the podcast hosted by the Kelce brothers. PEOPLE reported that William made his debut in a teaser shared on Instagram, where Jason introduced him with a loud roll call of royal titles and sports roles.
The episode was scheduled to drop the same day Swift and Kelce were expected to hold their reported wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden.
PEOPLE reported that guests had already been seen arriving at Madison Square Garden the night before for what was believed to be the couple’s rehearsal dinner.
Jason Kelce Gave William a Full Royal Introduction

In the teaser, Jason introduced William as “the 6 foot 3 Prince from London, England” before listing several of his titles and sports roles, including president of the English Football Association and vice royal patron of the Welsh Rugby Union.
“92 percenters, please welcome his Royal Highness, Prince William!” Jason said, according to PEOPLE.
Travis clapped and cheered as William appeared between the brothers. William laughed at the introduction and replied, “That is quite the intro, guys. Amazing.”
The New Heights episode featuring William was set to be released at 12 p.m. ET on Friday, July 3.
The Teaser Arrived During Swift and Kelce’s Reported Wedding Weekend
William’s podcast cameo landed as New York was already watching Madison Square Garden for signs of Swift and Kelce’s reported wedding events. PEOPLE reported that guests were seen arriving at the venue Thursday night for what was believed to be a rehearsal dinner.
The royal appearance was a podcast booking. PEOPLE previously reported that William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, were not expected to attend Swift and Kelce’s nuptials, despite earlier speculation about whether they had been invited.
William had been asked about the wedding during a May radio interview. InStyle reported that he laughed and answered “no comment” when asked whether he had received an invitation.
“I am hoping, and I am sure that there might be an invitation around,” William said at the time. “Will see.”
The Kelces Met William at Swift’s Wembley Show
William’s connection to the Kelces goes back to Swift’s Eras Tour stop at Wembley Stadium in June 2024. William attended the show with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and the royals met Swift and Kelce backstage.
On a later New Heights episode, Travis described William as “very genuine” and “very cool,” while Jason said the royal meeting was relaxed because it was not an official royal event. ABC News reported that the brothers also praised Princess Charlotte after the backstage meeting.
“I gotta say, Prince William was fantastic,” Jason said, according to ABC News. “But the highlight was Princess Charlotte.”
Travis called Charlotte “a superstar,” while Jason said she had “fire to her.”
William Has Said Charlotte and Louis Are Swift Fans
William has also said Swift’s music is popular in his own house. During the same May radio interview, he said Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are fans of the singer, according to InStyle.
“Charlotte, my daughter, and Louis are fans,” William said. “Charlotte, particularly, is obsessed with Taylor Swift. She saw her in the Eras Tour, it was amazing. We did meet her.”
