Stacey Solomon has given followers their first look inside her family’s new home after leaving Pickle Cottage, but one part of the property will remain deliberately out of view.
The 36-year-old television personality shared photographs of herself, Joe Swash and her children inside the entrance of what she has nicknamed the new “Pickle Project.” The family shot revealed patterned floor tiles and a bright entryway as they settled into the property.
Solomon said she plans to show individual rooms and renovation projects as the house develops, but she will not reveal the exterior. She explained that the family had experienced some privacy and security issues toward the end of its time at Pickle Cottage and now believes keeping the building itself offline is safer.
The move was not simply about finding another house to renovate. Solomon and Swash said they wanted more land where they could grow vegetables, provide space for rescued animals and build the kind of family setup they could not fully create at Pickle Cottage.
The New ‘Pickle Project’ Will Be Shared Room by Room

Solomon introduced the new house with a family photograph captioned, “Home is wherever I’m with you… Pickle Project, Here We Go.” She also shared what she called a “teeny tiny sneak peek” while holding the key to the property.
The photograph included Swash alongside Rex, Rose, Belle, Zachary and Leighton in the entrance of the new home. The Sun reported that followers immediately picked out the patterned floor tiles as one of the first visible details.
Solomon later said she wants to take her time deciding what to do with each room rather than rush into another full renovation. She also plans to ask followers for ideas as the work progresses.
There is one firm limit. “I’m not going to show the outside of the house this time around,” Solomon wrote. She said the choice was for “security & privacy reasons,” explaining that the family had experienced “some issues at Pickle Cottage in the end.” She did not provide further details.
More Land for Animals and Vegetables Drove the Move

Solomon and Swash first announced the move while still at Pickle Cottage. She described leaving as a “massive, massive decision” after five years in a home closely tied to their family life.
The reason was land. Solomon said her vegetable garden near Pickle Cottage was on Farmer Scott’s property, meaning its future remained outside her control. She and Swash had talked for some time about moving farther out if they found somewhere that gave them more space of their own.
When the new property appeared, Solomon immediately imagined a much larger vegetable patch and land that could be offered to animals in need. The Standard reported that she also talked about bringing the family’s horses back to the property, while Swash said they believed the move would allow the family to “flourish.”
Solomon described the new house as somewhere “really different” that still needs “a lot of love.” After years documenting the transformation of Pickle Cottage, she said she was excited to begin another project from the beginning.
Pickle Cottage Held Five Years of Family Milestones
Solomon and Swash moved into the Tudor style Essex property in 2021. They spent the next five years renovating it, raising their family there and turning parts of the house and grounds into familiar locations across Solomon’s social media and television work.
The home was also the setting for several major family milestones. Solomon gave birth to daughters Rose and Belle during the family’s years there, and she and Swash celebrated their wedding at Pickle Cottage in 2022.
In a farewell montage, Solomon thanked the house for “some of the best years of our lives” and wished its new owners love and happiness. She said the family would remain grateful for the memories made there.
The new property’s exact location has not been publicly disclosed. Solomon has instead begun introducing it through the parts she intends to share, starting with the entrance and the renovation plans that will turn the latest “Pickle Project” into their home.
