Savannah Chrisley had already married Jason Galanis when she discussed their upcoming wedding on her podcast. The couple’s ceremony took place more than three months before her announcement.

Marriage records obtained by PEOPLE show that they wed on July 14, 2026, at Cayman Islands Baptist Church. The outlet reported the marriage on October 29.

Chrisley, 29, revealed that she was expecting a baby during the October 27 episode of Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley. The Chrisley Knows Best alum and Galanis, 56, began dating in July 2025.

She spoke about becoming engaged but did not explicitly describe Galanis as her current fiancé. PEOPLE reported that the couple still intend to hold a larger wedding in 2027.

Chrisley Moved the Larger Wedding From January to May

Chrisley told listeners that the celebration had originally been scheduled for January 9, 2027. “It has just been pushed a few months to May of 2027,” she said, explaining that the pregnancy had prompted the change.

The episode also included her account of Galanis’s December 2025 proposal in the Cayman Islands. She discovered a jewelry box while he was retrieving a charger from his backpack, then received the ring during a visit to a secluded beach the following day. She said he left her free to decide whether it represented an engagement, a promise or simply a gift.

Galanis designed the oval-cut diamond engagement ring with Genovese Jewelers in St. Louis. Close-up photographs shared by jewelry specialist Nicole Genovese and photographer Chad Munro showed a second diamond band beneath it, prompting questions about whether the couple had already married.

Todd Chrisley Left the Marriage Question for Savannah to Answer

Todd appeared with his wife, Julie Chrisley, on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast on October 29. Asked about Savannah’s marital status, he declined to give a direct answer and suggested she would share more of her story the following week.

“At the end of the day, Savannah’s story is her story to tell,” he said, according to Us Weekly.

Todd acknowledged that he had initially struggled with the age difference between his daughter and Galanis. He said he ultimately chose to support her decision rather than risk their relationship, and praised the respect Galanis had shown her.

He also recalled Galanis approaching him to ask for Savannah’s hand in marriage and expressed excitement about becoming a grandfather.

She Had Considered Keeping His Identity Private Until After Marriage

Chrisley had previously told listeners that she might wait until she was married to identify her partner publicly, as Wealth of Geeks reported. In her pregnancy announcement, she called him Jason on her podcast and “J” on Instagram. His surname became public afterward.

She has said they connected through political circles while she was advocating for her parents’ release from prison. Galanis contacted her after Todd and Julie received presidential pardons in May 2025, and their conversations developed into a relationship.

Galanis received a 189-month federal prison sentence in September 2020 for multiple fraud schemes, according to the Justice Department. President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025.

The couple had also established a home together before news of their marriage emerged. TMZ reported that Chrisley purchased a Nashville-area house for $2.225 million on February 13, 2026. Sources told the outlet that Galanis was living there with her.
